Mrtibbs, regarding this game, and the Hunter, I agree with you when you say that there's room for both. Quite frankly, both games are what's needed for the prosperity and quality of both games.

Competition, however small, is needed in any industry. If one company has a monopoly and is never challenged, it grows lazy and unimaginative. This is why I really want this game an as well as the Hunter to succeed. So that the two of them can push each other to constantly become better.

While I understand that this game is going to be an MMO, and the Hunter isn't, at the core, they're both hunting games. So one game's success can only provide dividends for the other was well.

I couldn't agree more. As you say the success of both games depend on the fact that they push eachother forward. A game can be as beautiful graphics wise as can be but without renewal it will never be successful in the long run.

Sometimes progress start with small steps - baby steps.. ;)
